Tim Keller says there are 4 reasons modern Christians feel ashamed of the gospel:
• It tells us we’re such spiritual
• It tells us that we’re so
• It teaches us that all so-called good,
• It tells us that our salvation was accomplished by Jesus’
16 … it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16 (ESV)
18 For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18 (ESV)
If anyone believes they’re
The opposite of “ashamed of the gospel” is not “proud to be a Christian,” but
“But who do I talk to?”
