God’s Response to Suffering…
Jesus was
Hebrews 2:14 (NASB) Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.
Jesus is
Luke 9:22 (NASB) “The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed and be raised up on the third day.”
God makes suffering a raw ingredient and will bring about good for those who

The real hope of Christmas and the real peace on earth comes when God
