Overarching Questioins

“The quality of our lives will depend on our theology; philosophy and perspective” –
What type of life do you want?
Are you prepared to do what is required?
How do you respond to each of those areas?

Sermon Main Points

To determine the quality of our life we must:
1) Accept God is Your Shepherd and You are His sheep
2) Trust God and Follow Him.
3) Walk with Knowledge and Understanding

Sermon Highlights

The quality of our lives is determined by the acronym ATW; Accepting God is our Shepherd and allowing Him to guide us in every area of our lives; Trusting God and following Him unconditionally; and Walking with the knowledge and understanding that the Good Shepherd only wants good for his sheep.

Sermon Reflection

Psalm 23 uses the metaphor of the shepherd’s devoted care for his sheep to describe the guidance, strength and kindness of a loving God. When we acknowledge that He is our shepherd we then trust Him and allow Him to lead us and do for us as promised. We must then walk in faith and with a grateful heart, knowing that when times get difficult, He will be merciful, and He will do that all the days of our life as we dwell in His house forever.
