January Series Study Guide - Day 2

The book of Romans is often used as template to share good news of Jesus Christ. You may of heard it taught as the Romans Road to salvation. Romans 3:23 says for “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”. Romans 6:23 says the wages of that sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9-10 says. “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Romans 5:8 states that there is no condemnation for those who are in Jesus. Romans 1-11 is where the apostle Paul unpacks the mercy of God and His plan of salvation. In Romans 12, Paul transitions and begins by using the word therefore. Therefore, in view of Romans 1-11, you should live in response of His mercy and ultimately be transformed into the likeness of Jesus.
