Love the World

This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. —John 3:16-17 (The Message)

To love the world means we like God loves.

  • Agape (love of God)

But God demonstrated his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. —Romans 5:8 (NIV)

Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life. Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! —Ephesians 3:17-19 (TPT)

To love the world means we love the of the world.

According to Open Door USA:

  • Median age of global population is 28
  • Mostly black or brown

We

people more than we people.

To love the world means we to the world.
