28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” —Matthew 11:28-30

3 Things about Bitterness

  1. Take bitterness

    .

  2. Bitterness functions like a root - an

  3. Bitterness will trouble and

    many around you.

How do I deal with bitterness?

a) Acknowledge it. You cannot

from what you are unwilling to .
b) forgiveness. Cancel the debt.
Forgiveness and leads to resilience. Resilience – Capacity to recover quickly; to spring back. That’s why OVERCOMERS are FORGIVERS.

“So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his

, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.” —Matthew 18:35

c)

your offender. Luke 6:37-38. Bless: to speak well of.
