Daniel 5:13-30
I. We Must
A. Wisdom and Understanding Cannot Be Purchased (verse 17; Acts 8:18-20).
B. The World's Offer has Been Weighed and is Found Wanting (verses 25-30).
MENE, MENE, TEKEL, and PARSIN
Numbered, numbered, weighed, and divided
MENE means “God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end.”
TEKEL means “You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting.”
PERES means “Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.”
