DISCUSS
1. When you hear this question what is the first thing that pops into your head? “Are you a loving person?”
2. Compare and Contrast what love is not and what love is:
“It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil. Love is patient, love is kind. It rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”
3. Discuss the differences between what our culture calls love and the bible defines as love.
4. How do you know you are loving well?
5. 1 John 4:19 says “We love because he first loved us” – tell about a time you knew God loved you.
