Matthew 2:11 (NIV)
… they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

Matthew 2:12 (NIV)

Sometimes in Scripture, repentance refers to a change of our mind or in our thinking.

Other times, repentance refers to a change in direction, behavior, or purpose in our lives.

Acts 5:31 (NIV)
“God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might bring Israel to repentance.”

Acts 11:18 (NIV)
“… even to the Gentiles God has granted repentance that leads to life.”

2 Timothy 2:25 ( NIV)
Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth … .

Luke 5:32 (NIV)
“I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

• Ask the Lord for the empowerment of His Spirit to travel a different road in 2022.
