It Had To Happen

Philippians 1:12-26

When we find ourselves going through difficulty, we may not always see what we need to see, until after we get through it. The Apostle Paul provides a great example of how to accept our circumstances, knowing that God will allow them to happen in order to advance the Gospel in someone else’s life.

While Paul is in prison writing this letter…

He is

about the Gospel

“Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel.” v.12

He does not deny there is a

“…I am in chains for Christ.” v. 13

He sees with God’s

“And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.” v.14
