A brother offended is more unyielding than a strong city, and quarreling is like the bars of a castle. —Proverbs 18:19
God’s wisdom grounds us and propels us forward.
Proverbs are short moral statements that tell us something about life.
It’s easier to break into Fort Knox than to break back into a hurt person’s heart.
You may have forgiven them, but you keep them out because you don’t trust them.
Raising Your Voice in Anger.
A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. —Proverbs 15:1
Habitual Use of Sarcasm and Jokes.
18 Like a madman who throws firebrands, arrows, and death 19 is the man who deceives his neighbor and says, “I am only joking.” —Proverbs 26:18-19
Constant Criticism.
Constant Talkers and Interrupters.
If one gives an answer before he hears, it is his folly and shame. —Proverbs 18:13
Bad Listening.
Unjust Treatment.

Being Frugal.
We can mask our frugality as godliness.

Insensitivity.
Whoever sings songs to a heavy heart is like one who takes off a garment on a cold day, and like vinegar on soda. —Proverbs 25:20
Being Inconsiderate.
Being Arrogant.
A prudent man conceals knowledge, but the heart of fools proclaims folly. —Proverbs 12:23
Big Idea:
We are drawn and will open ourselves up to those who live and look like Jesus.
