Sermon Notes

God discontinued animal sacrifices for remedying human sin. He decided to lower Himself and come to us in a mixed fully human and Godly form, at the same time. He wants us to know His freely available love and peace, as well as His eternally freeing Grace and Mercy. Jesus is our mentor and demonstrates how Godly living can be done.
Us sinners are called by him to be repentant. In return, Jesus offers forgiveness. No-one is ever able to achieve God’s approval on their own. Only Jesus has reached Godly perfection. Therefore, an active saving relationship with Him, through the Holy Spirit is needed.

Jesus’ presence within you, is key. He works through the Holy Spirit. Through you and me every day, inasmuch as we choose to live our lives as His faithful followers, we are obedient to God’s calling on our lives. As a Jesus Follower, how can you make more of a posiive spiritual difference in the lives of others?

How can you become even more spiritually present with friends, neighbors, colleagues? How well are you representing Jesus and His influence on your life right now? Him being your spiritual “light”? Does knowing Jesus as your Lord and Savior impact your behavior? How so? What does it mean to shine a “Jesus Light” into the darkest corners of your own life? Has it meant enough that you bring others to your Bible-believing, godly and truth promoting church to worship with you; to learn and fellowship alongside you and your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ?
