Our Vision

Matthew 6:33-But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Psalm 45:6-7-Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
You love righteousness and hate wickedness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.

Hebrews 1:8-“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.

Righteousness is what rules the Kingdom of God! Understanding it prevents the deception of Matt 7:21-23.

God’s righteousness is found in the Gospel of Jesus!(Romans 1:16-17)

Romans 6:11- Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We need to quit trying to die when we already died with Him back at baptism. Wake up knowing your alive to Him!

Romans 6:18,19-And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness.

Becoming a slave to righteousness is a choice. The only way to make that choice is to know God has set you free from sin.

Romans 7

V.6-we are dead to the law and alive to the Spirit

V. 18- the law of God cannot empower us to be fre from sin. Even if we want to be.

Romans 8

The Holy Spirit, through Jesus’s act on the cross and resurrection is the One who empowers us to fulfill the law of God! This only comes through His grace!

Romans 5:21- so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Righteousness is the key to a strong, intimate relationship with God. We will carry out the works of the Kingdom that God has put in our life when we live in this.
