Surprise 1:
In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth. Luke 1:26 (ESV)
Surprise 2: God
To a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. And the virgin’s name was Mary. And he came to her and said, “Greetings, O favored one, the Lord is with you!” Luke 1:27-28 (ESV)
Surprise 3: Mary is
And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child.

Surprise 4: God didn’t Make
And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn. Luke 2:6-7 (ESV)

1 . Jesus

2 . Jesus
Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.
