But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. Therefore, whether it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed. —1 Corinthians 15:10-11
I. Grace Identifies Me
A. By the Grace of God
B. I Am What I Am
And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.’ ” —Exodus 3:4 NKJV
II. Don’t Waste the Grace
A. God’s Grace Towards You
B. Is Not Fruitless
Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands —2 Timothy 1:6 NKJV
By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. —John 15:8
III. Move Past What They Say
A. The Labor
For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. —1 Corinthians 15:9
I don’t need your approval when I already have God’s appointment. —Pastor Walker
IV. I Know Something About God’s Grace
A.God’s Grace At Work In Me
I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. —Philippians 4:12-13 NKJV
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?… As it is written:
“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. —Romans 8:31; 36-39 NKJV
V. Why It’s Nothing But A G Thang
A. I Preach, They Preach, We Preach
But because God was so gracious, so very generous, here I am. And I’m not about to let his grace go to waste. Haven’t I worked hard trying to do more than any of the others? Even then, my work didn’t amount to all that much. It was God giving me the work to do, God giving me the energy to do it. So whether you heard it from me or from those others, it’s all the same: We spoke God’s truth and you entrusted your lives. —1 Corinthians 15:10-11 MSG
