11 The following night the Lord stood by him and said, “Take courage, for as you have testified to the facts about me in Jerusalem, so you must testify also in Rome.”

Review Acts 22:22 – Acts 23:11
1a) Why do people reject the clear evidence that the gospel changes lives? How can we counter this and defend the faith?
1b) How should we respond when we are treated and accused wrongly? In what ways is Jesus our perfect example?
2a) What scriptures would you use to advise someone that they can move forward after making a mistake?
2b) Can our testimony be damaged by our past mistakes? Provide biblical examples of persons whose testimony was enhanced in spite of their past mistakes. .
3a) The Sadducees argued in Acts 23:8 that there is no resurrection. What are the implications if there is no resurrection? (You may use 1 Corinthians 15:13-19 for reference)
3b) In Acts 23:11 the Lord stood by Paul and told him to take courage. What is the basis of our confidence in that we can similarly embrace the grace and comfort of the Lord?
