Christian Women’s Book Club
Our next book club meeting is Tuesday, May 6, at 6:30pm in the FLC/Lobby. We are reading “The Little Liar” by Mitch Albom, an unforgettable story of truth and lies set during the Holocaust. We will discuss the entire book. Downloads are available through STPL Mobile, Cloud Library, Libby, and Hoopla. Our book club is open to women of all ages who love to read. Tuesday Night Prayer Meeting | 6-8pm

Stephen Ministry

Samantha’s Playground
Samantha’s Playground is open to children with parental supervision. Weekday play opens after carline at 1:20pm and weekend play at 9am during the school year. The playground closes at 6pm each day. Bring your children and enjoy!

Palm Sunday | April 13 at All Morning Services
Children in grades Pre-K 4/5 through 5th grade are invited to join us in the Palm procession.
8:30am and 11:00am meet in the Narthex. 9:45am meet in the Memorial Garden and 11:11am meet in the Highway lobby. Come enjoy the petting zoo with your family after church services. Petting zoo will be located between Driveway Jr. and Driveway Kids.

Re-Fuel
Refuel Spring Sessions are over. See you back in September!
We will still provide childcare for K-6th grade children whose parents are in Bible studies on Wednesday evenings. Check-in in the Duckie Joe room.

Spring Mission: Camp Istrouma
Camp Istrouma is our Methodist Summer Camp located in Greenwell Spring, Louisiana. We are raising money to help the camp purchase new canoes.
Summer Camp registration is now open at www.campistrouma.com.
St. Timothy is promoting the following weeks for our students:
June 16-20: Discovering God 2 (grades 3-5)
July 14-18: Discovering God 3 (grades 3-5)
The camp uses the grade the child is entering, not completed.

Praise Team Rehearsals
Children is grades K-6 are encouraged to join in the fun of leading worship in the Driveway at 9:45am. Practice is at 9am in rooms 103-104. Donuts are provided. Contact Chelsea Robinson at crobinson@sttimothyns.org for more information.

Acolytes

Highway Youth | Grades 7-12

Pit Stop | Sundays, 3-4:30pm | Grades 7-12
We gather in the Highway for a large group game and a time of recapping the Sunday morning message, followed by breakout small group time. All are welcome!

Highway Worship | Sundays 9:45am | Grades 7-12
High School and Junior High school students are invited to come and worship with us each week. Worship is student-led and messages are meant to be interactive and filled with the Spirit and truth relevant to the lives of students.

Bible Project: Overview Old & New Testament | Mondays, 6:30-8pm
We are doing the overview of the entire Bible this year to give students an understanding of how the story of god all fits together. The purpose of the gathering is to create a space for students to ask questions about their faith and learn to connect with God and community through the study of Scripture.

Senior Sunday
May 18, 11am | Main Sanctuary | Luncheon to Follow
There will be a slideshow and Bibles will be given to each student participating at the 11am service. There will be a luncheon following in the FLC/Gym following. If you would like to participate, please send a picture (cap & gown or casual), post high school plans, and how many will attend the luncheon. Information and pictures may be emailed to jburke@sttimothyns.org or dropped off to Sue London in the church office.
Volunteers are needed to set up, serve lunch, and clean up. Email Jen if interested.

Youth Music | Attention Youth in Grades 7-12!
If you love to sing, we want you to share your gifts and talents with our church and community. Whether you have experience or want to take your “shower singing” to the next level, come chuck us out! Missions

Methodist Children’s Home
We appreciate the special offering that was collected last weekend for the MCH. We are continuing to collect financial donations to support the home. If you would like to contribute, please make a check payable to St. Timothy with MCH on the memo line, or place in envelope marked MCH.

Mission Team Leader Training Event
Learn best practices for leading a mission team or to be a better team member on Saturday, April 5, from 9-4pm. Contact Diane Reich at diane845@gmail.com to register or for more information. Registration is due by March 29.

Bibles Needed
We are collecting gently used Bibles for St. Mark’s to pass out to their congregation and others in the area. Please place your donations in the black Mission bins around church campus.

Samaritan Center
Please help the Samaritan Center collect non-perishable food items. The greatest need currently is mashed potatoes, canned pasta, and spaghetti sauce. They are also in need of hygiene items such as deodorant, shampoo, tooth paste, and toothbrushes. Please place items in black mission bins or take directly to the Samaritan Center, 402 Girod St., Mandeville.

Reading Glasses Needed
We are recycling prescription and reading glasses for the Jail Ministry and St. Mark’s. Glasses must have a plain plastic frame and lens, with no embellishments. Place in black mission bins around church.
