Day 22: The power of prayer
In the book of Acts we can see a movement of prayer that lead to a worldwide impact in the mission that they had been given! Imagine if prayer was a movement instead of just a meeting. In this 1st century church pray was an impulsive response to their situation. We must make prayer our impulsive response instead of the last resort. They also prayed in ways that were bold! If we are going to be distinct in our movement of prayer then it begins with a new view of the God we are talking to. They did not just pray…they acted! It is called the book of Acts because we see people of prayer whose faith was so big they believed in a God who would choose to use them as the answer to their prayer!
