  • Head, Heart, and Hand Questions
  • Personal Prayer Requests
  • SMALL GROUP QUESTIONS

WARM UP: If you were invisible for a day, what would you do? [1 Peter 5:6-14 gives a contrast between the physical world that we see and supernatural world that we don’t see.]

HEAD: These questions help us examine the Word.
    1. Read 1 Peter 5:6-14. What observations or questions do you have?
    2. In what ways does this passage contrast what is seen and what is unseen?
    3. Pastor Peter said: “It is your job to humble yourself before God. God won’t force you to humble yourself.” Do you agree with this statement?
    4. Why might some people object to the belief in an unseen supernatural world?

HEART: These questions help us wrestle with what we believe.
    5. How aware are you of the unseen world?
    6. How do you think being more aware of the unseen world would impact your life?

HAND: These questions help us bring truth and beliefs into our everyday life.
    7. How can you become more aware of the unseen world?
    8. Over the past few months as we have been studying 1 Peter, have you noticed any changes in your life as you more and more embrace the life of an exile?
