Repentance is an opportunity to meet Jesus on his terms.

Journey Group Discussion Questions:
What values, beliefs, and habits can become barriers between us as believers and God? What barriers often keep people from believing in Jesus at all?

What differences, if any, are there between the barriers believers experience in their relationships with God and the barriers that unbelievers face in coming to faith? How can repentance address the experiences of both believers and unbelievers?

If self-reliance is a temptation in both secular and religious experience that demands repentance, how can we share the gospel in such a way as to invite trust in God rather than belief in a system?
