No matter what fears try to attack you, with prepared FAITH, you will win!
17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:
19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions.
34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. — Hebrews 11:17-19; 33-40
We All Have FEARS…
Some of the most common fears we have are fears like:
Public speaking, Snakes, Spiders, Drowning, Strangers, Flying, Heights, Blood/Needles, Clowns, Germs, etc…
- People I love becoming seriously ill
- Pollution of drinking water
- People I love dying
- Cyber-terrorism
- Extinction of plant and animal species
- Not having enough money for the future
- Random/Mass shooting
- The U.S. will be involved in another world war
- Technology that I don’t understand
For Many People, their greatest fear is
We must have FAITH to please God, but we must also acknowledge that we will have fears that attack as well - so let’s get prepared today!
Check this out - there is not a version of the Bible that 365 times says, quote unquote, “Fear not.” For instance, the King James Version says “Fear not” or “Be not afraid” 103 times, but not 365 times.
So there are actually more than 365 “Fear nots” in the Bible..
“Fear” is spoken of over 500 times in the KJV. In addition to the “Fear nots” many times the Bible teaches us to “Fear God,” which really means reverence God alone and do not fear anyone or anything else. Expanding the search to look at verses encouraging us to receive God’s peace and strength when we’re worried or anxious would add many, many more “Fear not” Scriptures. This is why I say that there are more than 365 “Fear nots” in the Bible.
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. —Romans 5:5
LOVE is the answer to
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. —2 Timothy 1:7
Look at what Paul says about the spirit we have received to the church at Rome:
15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!” 16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. 19 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. —Romans 8:15-19 (NASB)“In light of heaven, the worst suffering on earth, a life full of the most atrocious tortures on earth, will be seen to be no more serious than one night in an inconvenient hotel.” — Mother Teresa

How can I have FEARLESS FAITH? How is it possible to have a faith that constantly puts fear in it’s place?

Plan of Action
1. Answer this..What are you afraid of today, what FEAR is attacking you?
2. Name at least 2 things specifically that you need to stop focusing on daily and get back to LOOKING TO JESUS with.
3. Tell someone you trust about your two things and then worship with them right now in advance of any deliverance because you KNOW that GOD is in control of whatever is causing FEAR in your life!
4. Lastly, find a scripture with God’s promise to you about the area of your fear…, read it everyday/memorize it then post the scripture(s) on social media with the hashtag #BYFAITH
