Message: “How to be ‘Choosable’ by God”

Big idea: We can be “choosable” by God as we pattern our life after David’s life.

COMPARE AND CONTRAST DAVID AND SAUL

Saul segregated his leadship from God

David integrated God into his leadership.

Saul consistently moved away from God when he failed.

David consistently moved toward God when he failed.

MY NEXT STEP TODAY IS TO:

 Determine how I am living for people’s expectations rather than God’s expectations and adjust my life accordingly.
 Identify any area of my life that I have segregated from God and tear down that barrier.
 Be intentional to immediately run to God rather than away from Him when I mess up. Repent in prayer and share my struggles with a trusted, Godly friend for accountability.
