SMALL GROUP QUESTIONS

Warm Up Activity: Have everyone in the group go outside. Then have them close their eyes and listen. Ask them: what sounds do you recognize? After the exercise is over, ask them: would you normally recognize those sounds when you go outside? Why or why not?
HEAD: These questions help us examine the Word.
1. Read Acts 8:29, Acts 13:2-3, Acts 16:6-10. What do you notice in these verses about the way the Spirit speaks?
2. Read 2 Timothy 3:16-17. How important is Scripture in discerning the voice of the Spirit? .

HEART: These questions help us wrestle with what we believe.
3. How can you know that the Spirit is speaking to you? What was most helpful from the message about discerning the Spirit’s voice?
4. Share about a time when you were confident that the Spirit was speaking to you? Why were you so confident?

HAND: These questions help us bring truth and beliefs into our everyday life.
5. Is there anything that you are trying to hear from God about right now?
