1. Sheep Gate - used to bring the lambs for sacrifice into the temple area
2. Fish Gate - used by fishermen to bring in the catch of the day to the markets
3. Gate of Yeshanah - (Old Gate) One of original gates in the ancient wall
4. Valley Gate - used to travel to and from valley of hinnom
5. Dung Gate - used to transport dung and refuse to the valley to be burned
6. Fountain Gate - used by people approaching the pool of Siloah to wash before heading to the temple
7. Water Gate - Led down to Gihon Spring near the Kidron valley
8. Horse Gate - close to King’s stable, used for riding out to war
9. East Gate - located on the opposite side of mount of olives
10. Muster Gate - Where King David would have meet his troops to inspect them
