Acts 2:42-47 All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching (personal study), and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer (prayer & fasting). A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders (service). And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need (generosity). They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship (Evangelism) those who were being saved.
Acts 13:1-4 Among the prophets and teachers of the church at Antioch of Syria were Barnabas, Simeon (called “the black man”), Lucius (from Cyrene), Manaen (the childhood companion of King Herod Antipas), and Saul. One day as these men were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Appoint Barnabas and Saul for the special work to which I have called them.” So after more fasting and prayer, the men laid their hands on them and sent them on their way. So Barnabas and Saul were sent out by the Holy Spirit…
