Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.
Amen.

Thy Kingdom Come
From then on Jesus began to preach, “Turn away from sin and turn to God, for the Kingdom of God is near.” —Matthew 4.17
Because of sin and death, we are all subject to the kingdom of

For behold, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness is over the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you, and His glory will appear over you. —Isaiah 60.2
Because of Jesus’
we are invited into his Kingdom.
God has called you out of darkness and into his glorious light. —1 Peter 2.9
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. —2 Peter 3.9
Which kingdom are you living for?
The Prayer Rx
Pray the Lord’s Prayer at least 3x’s a day. Pray additionally as needed. Pray it alone. Pray it as a family. Pray it before you eat. Pray it before bed. Pray it when you feel sad, when you’re tempted, or when you’re hurting. Pray it when you’re happy. Pray it when you’re lonely or afraid. Pray this prayer often and mix it with faith in our Heavenly Father who loves and cares for you.
