Two Things About God’s Blessings
1 – God wants to bless you. You may argue because you think it won’t come because of how many bad things you’ve done. He wants to bless you because His love is unconditional.

2 – There are conditions to God’s blessings. They are tied to a very small word – IF
Deuteronomy 28:1 If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the world. 2 You will experience all these blessings if you obey the LORD your God

Deuteronomy 30:19 Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!

How much we can receive from God always comes down to heart attitudes – the heart of the matter is always the matter of the heart. Jesus put it this way…
Matthew 6:21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.

Our heart will follow where our treasure is. The heart of Christ is not what can I get, it’s what can I give. The heart of this world system is not what can I give, it’s what can I get.

When our heart is aligned with God’s heart the natural thing will be generosity in all things. My prayer is that we all will come closer to Gods’ heart today and become a little more like Him.

Trust in God Not Wealth
1Timothy 6:17 Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty or proud, or to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. 18 Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, 19 storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Put God First
Proverbs 3:9 (TPT) Glorify God with all your wealth, honoring him with your firstfruits, with every increase that comes to you.

Generosity is not about the tithe it’s about our trust.

Generosity is about putting God first.

The tithe is Holy – it belongs to God –
Leviticus 27:30 all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S. It is holy to the LORD.

The Tithe Has An Attached Promise
Malachi 3:10 Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. 11 I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil, and your vine in the field shall not fail to bear, says the LORD of hosts. 12 Then all nations will call you blessed, for you will be a land of delight, says the LORD of hosts.

The Purpose Of The Tithe
Deuteronomy 14:23b (Living Bible) … The purpose of tithing is to teach you always to put God first in your lives.

Proverbs 3:6 (Living Bible) In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success.
