TALK IT OVER
INTRODUCTION
There is a distinct difference between having expectations and living in expectancy. My hope is that, as you approach this new season at FBC, that you will live in the expectancy that the best days are yet to come.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
1. What expectations have you had with others that have not been met?
2. How have your unmet expectations changed your attitude toward someone or something?
3. What changes do you need to make for the upcoming season that will allow you to live in expectancy and not have a predetermined set of expectations?
4. What role do you need to take in this next season of FBC to ensure that What God has started here can come to complete fruition?
MOVING FORWARD
The next season of FBC will be unlike any other that has come before it. You can play a significant role in ensuring Kingdom success by living in the expectancy of God rather than having expectations of people. I challenge you to work with the leadership and staff and pursue a joyful expectancy of the future.
CHANGING YOUR MIND
But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy. —Romans 8:25 (MSG)
