“This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: 2 “Go down to the potter’s house, and there I will give you my message.” 3 So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel. 4 But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.”” —Jeremiah 18:1-4
Despite how we feel or what we are going through know that God is working.
“Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.” —Isaiah 64:8 NIV
Never sleeps or slumbers
“He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.” —Psalms 121:3-4 NIV
Sometimes life doesn’t happen as we planned or wanted.
“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” —Proverbs 16:9 NIV
Just like the clay on the wheel keeps spinning around, sometimes life feels the same way…we just keep going around and around.
When all seems lost or broken God picks up the pieces and shapes us again.
“The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part.”—Job 42:12a NIV
