God is proud of who you are.

We are created to reflect God’s image on this earth!

Matthew 5:14-16
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 
15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Our weakness, our stumbling is often a huge encouragement to others.

2 Cor 12.9-10
 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 
 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

He wants his children to be confident and fearless, as confident and fearless as a child whose father believes in them and knows how far they can go.

When we know God’s heart we will never miss God.

When we understand His heart we won’t just know what to do because we fellowship with Him, but we will also know why we’re doing what we’re doing.

** John 5:19**
19 Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.

Ephesians 5.1-2 (ESV)
1 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. 
2 And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

This call to imitate God is a response to what God has first done in you.
