“I Would Not Do That If I Were You”

I Kings 13:33, 34
Malachi 3:7 reads, “Ever since the time of your ancestors you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord Almighty…” (NIV) This verse records a sad indictment from God regarding the Nation of Israel. There is no way for any individual on earth to live a perfect life, but all believers should strive to live a life pleasing to the Lord. There are great benefits for God being satisfied with one’s lifestyle, as well as major consequences of living outside of the Lord’s will. This lesson is designed to share the dangers of Christians not making changes for the Lord.
