Don’t Be A Hypocrite

Luke 18:9-14

What does it mean to truly walk in humility? Arrogant people repel others, but the humble attract others to God. Every day we are faced with choices, pride being the easiest way, but choosing humility takes strength that only God can give. What will you choose?

Each man’s location
“Two men went to the Temple to pray. One was a Pharisee, and the other was a despised tax collector.” v10
Each man’s posture
“But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed.” v13a
Each man’s behavior
“I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God.” v14a

Have you asked God to have mercy over your life?
