Proverbs 27
20 Just as Death and Destruction are never satisfied, so human desire is never satisfied.

Philippians 2
1 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion,

2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.

JOY IS FOUND IN

John 17
20-21 “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”

Philippians 2
3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,

4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

JOY IS FOUND IN AND

Philippians 2
19 If the Lord Jesus is willing, I hope to send Timothy to you soon for a visit. Then he can cheer me up by telling me how you are getting along.

20 I have no one else like Timothy, who genuinely cares about your welfare.

21 All the others care only for themselves and not for what matters to Jesus Christ.

22 But you know how Timothy has proved himself Like a son with his father, he has served with me in preaching the Good News.

5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

WE FIND JOY WHEN WE STRIVE TO

Philippians 2
6 [Christ Jesus] Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;

7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!

Galatians 3
13 But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”

Philippians 2
9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
