Matthew 7:21-23
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’”

Q: What IS the point?
Q: How do we make sure we don’t MISS the point?

Two Truths:
* *“All fall short of the glory of God” - Romans 3:23
* “If we confess our sins, God Who is faithful and just forgives our sins and cleanses us from ALL unrighteousness” - 1 John 1:9*

POINT:
The

work is not what “I” do for HIM, but what HE has !

Q: What’s the point?
A: To

our !

Philippians 3:8-11
“Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith— that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.”

POINT:
IF we want to

Christ, we must !

POINT:
If we want to know Him, we will be

into Him!

Romans 6:3-5
“Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.”

POINT:
The

that could ever happen to any of us is that we “know” Jesus__!

Q: Do you “know” Him today?
