Discussion Questions
1) Read 1 John 4:16 and Ephesians 3:14-19 again. Pastor Josh shared that God loves us even in the middle of our mess. How does that make you feel? What does this fact communicate about the depth and character of God’s love? How might it affect how we love other people?
2) Think about the Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15). Do you agree with Pastor Josh that the Father is the main character in this story and not the younger son? How does this change your perspective on this story? What can we learn from it?
3) How do we get to know and understand God’s love? What role does the local church have in this? What role does your own personal relationship have?
