The Last invitation.
Here we have soem of the most beautiful and meaningful words found within the Bible. Here we discover the last invitation.

The word “come” is used 7 times in just these 4 verses. However the word has been widely used throughout the Bible.
1. Noah. Genesis 7:1. Then the Lord said to Noah, “Come into the ark.”
2. Moses. Exodus 32:26. Whoever is on the Lord’s side, “Come to me.”
3. Isaiah 1:18. “Come now, and let us reason together” says the LORD.
4. Zaccheus Luke 19:5. “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down.”
5. Matthew 11:28. “Come to Me, all you who are weary and heavy laden.”
6. Matthew 19:14. “let the little children come unto me.”
7. Luke 14:23. “Go out inot the highways and hedges and comple them to come in.”

This is the climax and purpose of every worship service is the inviation to come to Jesus.

But here we are three different people who respond to Jesus.
1. The Holy Spirit. He has been grieved for almost 2k years with people rejecting Jesus and even provoking Him.
2. The Bride. His Church has been in prayer anticipating His return.
3. The Lord Jesus Christ. He desires to return.

So why has He not returned yet. This verse always comes to mind 2 Peter 3:9.

So here is our invitation tonight:
1. Whosoever hears, come.
2. Whoever thirst come.
