This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it. —Psalm 118:24

Today! Today is the day the Lord has made. We are commanded in Psalm 118:24 to REJOICE. Pause before you read the rest of this lesson, thank the Lord for allowing you to live TODAY. The fact that you are alive indicates God has a plan for your life, what is that plan? What can you rejoice over today?

Look up Proverbs 16:4. Why did God make you and allow you to live today?

In Deuteronomy 9:3 Moses states something about the character of God? What is one of God’s character traits:

Our tendency is to look upon our circumstances as the whole of what is doing in us and around us. Yet God is in total control of all that appears to be out of control.

What will you do TODAY, that you did not do yesterday? When we are given a day, we have choices. We can either do our own thing, blame it on someone else or determine to make a difference in the world we are living in? Nehemiah 9:32, Focus on the character of God in this verse:
