Mark 11: 22 ¶ And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
Faith: Complete trust in someone or some thing.
Heb 11: 1 ¶ Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Rom 1:17…The just shall live by faith.
II Cor 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.
Rom 4: 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteous
Luke 17: 5 ¶ And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
6 ¶ And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
The Mustard Seed:
The faith that we must have is a faith that has more to do with what kind of faith it is than with how much faith there is.
A small amount of faith – as much as a mustard seed (a very small seed) – can accomplish great things, if that small amount of faith is placed in a great and mighty God.
It is far better to have small faith on thick ice than great faith on thin ice.
Our small faith in so great a Savior can accomplish great things.
At 70, a reporter asked Ty Cobb who had a .367 lifetime batting avg, if he played today what would his avg. be? He responded .290 or .300!
Reporter asked Why .300?……

We all have Control over three areas
in our lives:
The Thoughts You think.
The Word You Speak.
The Actions You Take.
Three Kinds of Faith:
1)Saving Faith: Trusting in God’s unlimited Grace fo our or Eternity rather than our own goodness.
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast
2)Sustaining Faith: Staying in Faith when we don’t understand or quickly receive an answer.
Rom 8: 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
3)Delivering Faith: Believing God will Bring us out of the fiery furnace & the lion’s den.
II Cor 11: I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.
24 Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.
25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;
26 In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;
27 In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
II Tim 4:17b I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom.
Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Psalm 34:3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
9 O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

Rom 4: 16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:
20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Rom 10:8 The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
17So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God
Heb 11:3 ¶ Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
(Gen. 4:1-16; 5:18-24; 6:5-8:22 )
4 ¶ By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
5 ¶ By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
7 ¶ By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
James 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
25 ¶ Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26 ¶ For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
