We Bring Life: Eternal Life
What do people really care about at different stages in their life?
Young Adults (ages 18-35)
Young Adults care about their future more than anything else.
Mid-Lifers (ages 35-60)
Mid-Lifers generally care the most about personal success.
Golden Years (ages 60+)
Golden Years care most about their quality of life.
Behind every stage is a longing for purpose and understanding of oneself and one’s world.
Easter confirms that God wants to have a relationship with you. He came out of the spiritual realm into the physical world and his name is Jesus. He came to prove his love for you by living a perfect life, dying a sinless death, and being raised to life again. This loving act of kindness proves what God has been saying since the creation of time, he loves you and longs for you to love Him back.
“The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him.”
Matthew 28:5-9
Thomas, who was not present did not believe Jesus had returned.
“…Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”
John 20:25
“A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
John 20:26-29
It doesn’t matter what season of life you are in right now because Jesus is in every stage trying to get your attention.
