Everyday Jesus Notes 5.30.21
May 30, 2021

Everyday Jesus: Everyday Jesus is a great way to deepen your Bible reading, prayer life & personal time with Christ.

• Monday: Read Romans 12:9-21; 15:1-7. Christian love is supernatural & built on different principles than what we find in our culture. As you read these 2 passages together, pray for God’s endurance & encouragement to live in harmony with people in a way that builds up & doesn’t destroy God’s work.
• Tuesday: Read Romans 15:1-7. The strong are obligated to bear with the failings of the weak. Today, ask the Lord to show you where you have strength to share and also where you are weak and need to grow in your faith.
• Wednesday: {Day of Fasting} Read Romans 15:1-7 We bear with & seek to build up the weak because Christ is our model. Christ bares with our failings and denies Himself for our sake.Today, let’s begin to reset our perspective of the relationships we have with people in our lives by earnestly thanking Christ for not getting tired of bearing our failings or seeking to please Himself.
• Thursday: Read Romans 15:1-7, Psalms 119:105 100% of the Bible is for our instruction. Do we approach the Bible as our sole source of instruction and encouragement which leads to hope rooted in Christ? Let that question be your prayer before the Lord.
• Friday: Read Romans 15:1-7 Paul does not explain what endurance & encouragement in Christ look like. Instead, Paul prays that the God what is the source of endurance and encouragement grant us harmony according to Christ’s power. Ask the God of endurance and encouragement to grant you you endurance & encouragement that aligns with Christ, so that in unity we will glorify God!
• Saturday: Romans 15:1-7 Based on the model of Christ, Christ followers are called to welcome people. The way in which we welcome people demonstrates the significance of God in us.
