Sunday’s Message - The mission of The Lakes is clear – to know Christ and to make Him known. What makes our church different and distinct is our Core Values. Every local church has different values and emphasis’. This is good and brings a uniqueness that glorifies the Lord. This week we are looking at two of our Core Values that shape us. The Lakes is Gospel-centered and believes in the Power of Prayer. These are both incredibly important for us to know and apply to our lives. Everything we do flows from the gospel of Christ and we really(!) believe in the power of prayer.

Weekly Fighter Verse – For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” Romans 1:16-17
