Does your walk match your talk?

James 1:22, NLT
But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.

You might feel like you are faking it because you haven’t yet surrendered you will to God.

Galatians 2:20, NLT
My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

You need to give up your ways and give your will to God by following Jesus.

Luke 9:23, NLT
Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.

how do we practically follow Jesus? (One at a time)

• Spend time communicating with God in prayer.
• Spend time reading and applying the Bible to your life.
• Spend time serving others and sharing Jesus with others.

Give up your ways and follow every day.
