Introduction
Four Unique Forms Of Love In Scripture:
Eros (Pronounced: AIR-ohs)
Eros is the Greek word for sensual or romantic love, sexual desire, physical attraction (reserved for marriage).
Storge (Pronounced: STOR-jay)
Storge describes family love, the affectionate bond that develops naturally between parents and children, and brothers and sisters.
Philia (Pronounced: FILL-ee-uh)
Philia is the type of brotherly love in the Bible that most Christians practice toward each other, it is a powerful emotional bond seen in deep friendships.
Agape (Pronounced: Uh-GAH-pay)
Agape is the highest of the four types of love in the Bible, it defines God’s immeasurable, incomparable love for humankind. It is the divine love that comes from God. Agape love is perfect, unconditional, sacrificial, and pure.
34 So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. 35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

Whatever turns up, grab it and do it. And heartily! This is your last and only chance at it, for there’s neither work to do nor thoughts to think in the company of the dead, where you’re most certainly headed. —Ecclesiastes 9:7-10 (TMB)
