Proverbs 29:18 (KJV) Where there is no vision, the people perish.

God brings transformation to our lives.

2 Cor 3:18 (CSB) “We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord and are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory; this is from the Lord who IS the Spirit.”

We what we .

John 10:24-25 (CSB) The Jews surrounded him and asked, “How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”
“I did tell you and you don’t believe,” Jesus answered them. “The works that I do in my Father’s name testify about me.”

John 1:45-51 (CSB) Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the law (and so did the prophets): Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth.”
“Can anything good come out of Nazareth? ” Nathanael asked him.
“Come and see,” Philip answered.
Then Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said about him, “Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.”
“How do you know me? ” Nathanael asked.
“Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you,” Jesus answered.
“Rabbi,” Nathanael replied, “You are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel!”

1. JESUS IS .

I Cor 1:27 (CSB) God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong.

Isaiah 42:2 (CSB) He will not cry out or shout or make his voice heard in the streets.

John 7:2-6 (HCSB) The Jewish Festival of Tabernacles was near,so His brothers said to Him, “Leave here and go to Judea so Your disciples can see Your works that You are doing.
For no one does anything in secret while he’s seeking public recognition.
If You do these things, show Yourself to the world.”
(For not even His brothers believe in Him.)
Jesus told them, “My time has not yet arrived…

2. JESUS YOU!

John 1:47 * “Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.”*

Psalm 139:1-6 (NLT)
O LORD, you have examined my heart
and know everything about me.
You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
You see me when I travel
and when I rest at home.
You know everything I do.
You know what I am going to say
even before I say it, LORD.
You go before me and follow me.
You place your hand of blessing on my head.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too great for me to understand!

3. JESUS YOU.

John 1:48 “How do you know me? ” Nathanael asked.
“Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you,” Jesus answered.

Psalm 34:18 (NLT) The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

Psalm 147:3 (NLT) He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.

Psalm 139:13-18 (NLT)
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed.
How precious are your thoughts about me, O God.
They cannot be numbered!
I can’t even count them;
they outnumber the grains of sand!
And when I wake up,
you are still with me!

Conclusion:

This is true Christianity- that we are so moved

the heart of Christ
that we move the heart of Christ.

John 1:50-51 “Do you believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree?
YOU WILL SEE GREATER THINGS THAN THIS!
…You will see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”
