Success is the result of discipline over a period of time, or “training” for a certain outcome. Share a time with the group when you worked hard to make something positive happen in your life.

Is there a time in your life, possibly in your role as a parent if that applies to you, that you earnestly ssought wisdom in situation and God revealed it to you?

In what specific areas of your life do you earnestly seek God’s wisdom?

Recall how time with your parents or your kids impacted your life positively or negatively.

As our parent, God desires to spend quality time with us. How important is it for you to spend time alone with God? How does that impact your earthly relationships?

Would you say that prayer is a priority in your life right now? If so, share the success of the process you use for prayer. If not, is there some small change of direction you can make right away to start down the road of an active prayer life?

In what ways have you seen the prayers of others on your behalf impact your life personally?

Iin your own life, how has the person you are affected the places you can go? Has there ever been a time when God changed something deep within you that has resulted in a positive outcome?
