Chapter 1

Co-Senior Pastor Rick Baldwin

We have to tell everyone! —Marie Baldwin

My life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God. —Acts 20:24 (NLT)

“You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.” —Matthew 17:20 (NLT)

Chapter 2 could be the biggest growth engine thus far!!

When one of you says, “I am a follower of Paul,” and another says, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you acting just like people of the world? After all, who is Apollos? Who is Paul? We are only God’s servants through whom you believed the Good News. Each of us did the work the Lord gave us. I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow. The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work. For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building. —1 Corinthians 3:4-9 (NLT)

Co-Senior Pastor Jeff Maness

Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? 2Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. 3Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. 5You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. —Philippians 2:1-5

1.) Humility

Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. —Philippians 2:3-4

Humility is not thinking less about yourself; it’s thinking about yourself less.

2.) Unconditional love

We love each other because he loved us first. —1 John 4:19

So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. 35Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” —John 13:34-35

Love First - Followers of Jesus should be characterized by genuine love and deep commitment to one another and our neighbor, which flows from our whole love of God.

3.) Grace

Mercy is not getting what you do deserve, and grace is getting what you don’t deserve.
