SMALL GROUP QUESTIONS

WARM UP QUESTION
Share about the most generous person you know, what do you think motivates their generosity? [Today we are going to be looking at giving—trying to clear up some of the fuzziness and develop our biblical convictions about giving.]

HEAD: These questions help us examine the Word.
1. For 20-30 minutes, split up into 3 groups look up verses on these three questions. Write down some conclusions to share with the group:
a. Why are we to give?
b. How are we to give?
c. Where are we to give?
2. Then, come back together and be prepared to share your findings with the other groups.

HEART: These questions help us wrestle with what we believe.
3. Was there anything in the message on Sunday or the study just now that changed your perspective on giving?
4. Which of three questions has been the biggest sticking point for you in becoming more generous as a disciple of Jesus?

HAND: These questions help us bring truth and beliefs into our everyday life.
5. Based on what God is showing you, will anything change in your generosity?
