Luke 2:11-14 (NKJV) “For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
Galatians 5:22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace…
Psalm 34:14 (NIV) Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

James 4:1 What is causing the quarrels and fights among you?
James 3:14-16 But if you are bitterly jealous and there is selfish ambition in your heart, don’t cover up the truth with boasting and lying. For jealousy and selfishness are not God’s kind of wisdom. Such things are earthly, unspiritual, and demonic. For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind.

1 John 2:16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure [entertainment], a craving for everything we see [materialism], and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.
- Advent’s Peace: The source of conflict is
Luke 8:14 The seeds that fell among the thorns represent those who hear the message, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the cares and riches and pleasures of this life. And so they never grow into maturity.

James 3:17-18 But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.
