1 John 2:12-14

1. The Steps of a Child are

1 John 3:23, “Now this is his command: that we believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another as he commanded us.”
1 John 5:13, “I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.”
1 John 5:1, “Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves the one born of him.”
1 John 5:5, “Who is the one who conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?”
2. The Steps of a Father are

Hebrews 5:13-14, “Now everyone who lives on milk is inexperienced with the message about righteousness, because he is an infant. But solid food is for the mature—for those whose senses have been trained to distinguish between good and evil.”
3. The Steps of the Young Man are
. (Vs. 13-14; John 16:33; Rom 8:31-33, 37-39; Col 2:15)
John 16:33, “I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world.””
Romans 8:31-33, “What, then, are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He did not even spare his own Son but gave him up for us all. How will he not also with him grant us everything? Who can bring an accusation against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies.”
Romans 8:37-39, “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Colossians 2:15, “He disarmed the rulers and authorities and disgraced them publicly; he triumphed over them in him.”
