I. HOLY HUNGER - PSALM 24 is for 2024.
This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face. Selah —Psalm 24:6
- They are described as being like Jacob, and like Jacob they are changed to Israel, one who prevails or overcomes.
- They seek His face. Hebrew word means “Presence”. They want God Himself. They are seeking Him first.
- A key characteristic of this generation - instead of disheartening them, adverse circumstances provoke intense spiritual hunger and thirst within them.
- What happens for those who seek Him? They find Him.
blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. —Matthew 5:6
II. This is the time to
Down on Discipleship - on being and making disciples.
- Discipleship is synonymous with SEEKING Him.
Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me. —Luke 9:23
3 Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?
Or who may stand in His holy place?
4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol,
Nor sworn deceitfully. —Psalm 24:3-4
- In the natural, everything flows downhill.
- In the Spirit, there is an supernatural uphill flow.
2 Now it shall come to pass in the latter days
That the mountain of the Lord’s house
Shall be established on the top of the mountains,
And shall be exalted above the hills;
And all nations shall flow to it.
3 Many people shall come and say,
“Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
To the house of the God of Jacob;
He will teach us His ways,
And we shall walk in His paths.” —Isaiah 2:2-3-He shall receive blessing from the Lord,
And righteousness from the God of his salvation. —Psalm 24:57 Lift up your heads, O you gates!
And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
The Lord mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O you gates!
Lift up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
10 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
He is the King of glory. Selah —Psalm 24:7-10
- So in Psalm 24 we see HOLY HUNGER in a GENERATION THAT SEEKS the PRESENCE of the God of Jacob, and as a result, experience His victory and OVERCOME.
III. In 2024, the Holy Spirit is emphasizing The Ability to
and the Anointing to Breakthrough.
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors [overcomers] through Him who loved us. —Romans 8:37
- This is connected, very directly, to knowing Jesus more! What did Jesus say about seeking? Seek and you will find.
13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. —Jeremiah 29:13
IV. 2024 is a Year for
Revelation of Jesus, the Lion and the Lamb.
1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.
4 John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne,
5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,5b AMP To Him who [always] loves us and who [has once for all] freed us [or washed us] from our sins by His own blood (His sacrificial death)
6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” —Revelation 1:1-8
a) The book of Revelation is called that because of it’s first sentence - the revelation of Jesus Christ. The unveiling.
b) There is a present, past, and future unveiling of Jesus. The focus is Jesus.
- The key to overcoming is to
c) It is also a book about what happens with those to whom Jesus is unveiled.
“But the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” —Daniel 11:32
- OVERCOMING is not merely a result of human effort. It’s a result of walking with Jesus as a growing
- In 2024, there new grace for overcoming, coming through the eyes of our heart being opened afresh to see and know Jesus.
My heart is fixed oh God, my heart is fixed. —Psalm 57:7
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. —Hebrews 12:1-2a (NKJV, NIV)
15 Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. —Ephesians 1:15-20
- Knowledge - to become thoroughly and
Enlightened - to give light, to shine, illumination. They looked unto Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed.
Out of this personal knowledge and enlightenment of Jesus, 3 things you will know:
a) The Hope of His calling.
b) The riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
c) The exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes. —Revelation 2:7
- The hearing and overcoming are connected.
- Knowing Jesus and overcoming are connected.
- Those that know their God will be strong!
*So for 2024, we see a progression of: *
a) Holy Hunger
b) Resulting in Seeking Him (doubling down discipleship)
c) Leading to Great Revelation of Jesus
d) Release a greater grace to Overcome and the Anointing to Breakthrough.
V. 2024 is a year of Cycles reversed - personal, generational, even over nations.#

VI. 2024 and Beyond will continue to be a Time of Return.
The return is unto
A return from captivity, into freedom.
- Prodigals returning from a far country. Will we be the mothers and fathers that receive them?
- People are returning to the house of bread. Will we be found in the harvest field like Boaz’s workers?
- The Lord is returning very soon. Will we be found with oil in our lamps?

VIII. 2024 is a year to
through the prophetic word.
- Haggai and Zechariah like ministries. God releasing this type of anointing in our midst and upon His church.
they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo —Ezra 6:14.

Zechariah - the Lord
Haggai - festive! Joyful, keeping the feasts.
There’s a recommissioning coming from heaven in this hour for those that rise up in the original commissioning.

- Greater Revelation of Jesus, the Lion and the Lamb.
- Cycles reversed.
- A time of Return.
- Miracles in and through marriages.
- A time to prosper and advance through the prophetic word.Haggai and Zechariah like ministry from God’s Spirit.
